Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (1st or 3rd shift) - Macedonia, OH

Pay Range: $32.00 - $37.00/HR. Permanent Position with Benefits.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Determine repair procedures and implement those repairs that will be effective in preventing reoccurrence.
• Navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults.
• Modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
• Install, move, and align new and existing equipment.
• Setup and operate various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform both gas and electric welding operations.

• 4 years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
• Maintenance Technician "A" level must be proficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLC’s and electrical and hydraulic schematics.

• Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses).
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years training and have hands‑on experience in a machine shop environment with specific experience repairing and maintaining tools and dies.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
