Base Pay RangeUS $75,000 – US $130,000 per year
Responsibilities- Develop PC and non-PC based HMI software for gear hobbing, grinding and shaping conversational programs.
- Create user manuals for HMI and machine software.
- Leads startup, testing and debugging of software on the floor or at customer facilities.
- Develop CNC macro programs.
- Write PLC software (Ladder, Statement List and Function Block Diagram).
- Implement backup policies and procedures for machinery software.
- Apply software design rules and policies to maintain acceptable revision control, commenting, formatting and functionality.
- CNC, PLC and HMI experience.
- RS 274 CNC programming standard.
- IEC 61131 PLC programming standard.
- Electrical background with strong mathematics skills.
- Motion controls experience.
- Programming in Visual , VB6, Visual C++.
- Siemens HMI Operate and HMI Advanced experience.
- Siemens 840D, 840
Dsl and Fanuc 30 series PLC programming. - CNC macro software routine writing.
- Fanuc Macro Executor Software experience.
- Read and understand mechanical, electrical and fluid drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical circuitry, relay control logic, PLC logic, CNC functions and programming, servo and feedback systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, lubrication, pneumatic and coolant systems.
- Previous OEM metal working equipment service experience desirable.
- Familiar with volt/ohm/amp meters and oscilloscope use.
- Must have own tools.
- Proficient technical writing.
- May require travel for field customer service or installation support.
- High desire to succeed and excel.
- Professional appearance and behavior with customers and coworkers.
- Effective oral and written communication and reporting using MS Office.
- Familiar with MS Word and MS Excel.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid passport.
