First Baptist Church of Machesney Park is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational pastor to lead our congregation into a new season of ministry and growth.

For 75 years, our church has faithfully served the Machesney Park community. Though we are a modest congregation, we are blessed with a great location, a solid foundation of faith, and a sincere desire to reach our neighbors with the love of Christ.

Like many churches, we experienced decline but we believe God is calling us to begin something new. We are seeking a pastor who will come alongside us with a shepherd’s heart—someone who can help us renew our vision, strengthen our ministries, and engage our community in meaningful ways.
