Delivery Specialist - Hub.

Location:

Machesney Park, IL.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• Deliver parts and/or products to O'Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center. Must have a legal state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the set route; deliver to the appropriate store.
• Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines.
• Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Deliveries must be made according to the set schedule; report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or stores on the route.
• Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage prior to operating the vehicle each day. Report vehicle maintenance needs to the store manager. Ensure the fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is secured at the end of the day. Drive safely and defensively.

  Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.

• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
