American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract requiring at least 2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
Requirements- Active RN license (ME or compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and STABLE certifications
- Minimum of 2 years acute care RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate
- Work on an OB unit caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients
- Night shift schedule
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide holistic, individualized nursing care under the supervision of the charge nurse
- Manage unit supplies and equipment and promote teamwork with physicians and hospital staff
- Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate assigned patient care
- Adhere to Standards of Nursing Practice and hospital policies regarding confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA
- Complete general nursing and unit orientation prior to starting
