- Assist the head coach with the conduct of practices and games.
- Work on individual player development.
- Supervise pre‑season and conditioning programs.
- Assist with recruitment and contact of prospective student‑athletes.
- Attend recruiting events and/or games.
- Promote and maintain positive public relations.
- Help to plan and conduct summer camps.
- Maintain and update CARA logs throughout the year.
- Build soccer relations within the youth of the community.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach.
- Commit to the academic success, personal growth, and social development of student‑athletes.
- Comply with all NCAA, the Ohio Valley Conference, and Western Illinois University Athletics Department policies and procedures.
Rank & Salary: $33,790 – $35,568, commensurate with experience.

Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Collegiate coaching or playing experience.
- Master’s Degree.
- Collegiate coaching or playing experience at the NCCA DI or DII.
- Degree must be conferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body); unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
