Overview

Base pay range is provided separately. This role involves providing pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers on health care and prescription needs, maintaining confidential information, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders and counseling on health care and prescription medication needs.
• Maintain confidential information and required documentation for controlled medications.
• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply it to the development and execution of action plans by advising others on information and best practices to meet customer and business needs.
• Support and implement business solutions by building relationships with stakeholders, identifying needs, executing processes, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Model and guide associates on customer service approaches to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines and standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity by applying them in business plans and practices.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and directing safety, operational and quality assurance reviews.
• Maintain confidential information, documentation, and records as required by policy and regulations.
• Provide comprehensive patient care by processing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and supporting programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.

• Foster a culture of patient care, safety, and accountability; ensure standard operating procedures and quality goals are followed; promote reporting and transparency of errors.
• Develop and implement action plans to address root causes and improve team knowledge and patient safety.
• Assist with HIPAA compliance, billing procedures, and adherence to SOPs; utilize auditing processes to identify issues and drive improvements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm
  
  D, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license by job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
