Paramedic - Lifeguard Ambulance Service
American Medical Response is hiring full‑time Paramedics for the Lifeguard Ambulance Service. We offer a competitive compensation package and a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for a committed employee.
CompensationStarting compensation: $25.00+ per hour
12‑hour shifts
Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 with commitment to the role
- Assess each call situation and determine the appropriate course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols.
- Apply Paramedic skills and use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, IV fluids) to deliver advanced care.
- Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and reassurance.
- Lede the Paramedic team, taking responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
- Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics.
- Participate in community programs to enhance AMR’s image and strengthen community relations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- State Paramedic License.
- Valid state Driver’s License.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NREMT‑Paramedic. - Driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass Physical Agility Test.
- Some prior healthcare experience is preferred.
