American Medical Response is hiring full‑time Paramedics for the Lifeguard Ambulance Service. We offer a competitive compensation package and a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for a committed employee.

Starting compensation: $25.00+ per hour
12‑hour shifts
Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 with commitment to the role

• Assess each call situation and determine the appropriate course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Apply Paramedic skills and use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, IV fluids) to deliver advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lede the Paramedic team, taking responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to enhance AMR’s image and strengthen community relations.

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License.
• Valid state Driver’s License.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NREMT‑Paramedic.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some prior healthcare experience is preferred.
