Description:
Requires pediatric experience.
The unit treats a highly variable number of patients based on census and scheduled hours per day.
Candidates must have generalist evaluation and treatment skills to cover a broad range of patients.
Common diagnoses include general medical, CVA, hip fractures, post-operative THR/TKR, adhesive capsulitis, tendon injuries, upper extremity fractures, carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome, developmental delays, autism, sensory issues, and various syndromes.
The care settings include inpatient, swing-bed, assisted living, and outpatient services.
No weekend or holiday requirements currently.
Dress code consists of black scrubs or a black collared shirt with khaki pants.
Department-specific orientation is provided.
Cancellation policy allows for two cancellations per 13-week assignment.
Charting system utilized is Cerner.
General Certification Requirements include BLS and state licensure.
