Emergency Room - ER RN - Travel Nurse

Overview

We’re looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Macomb, IL. The right RN should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

• Evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain patient vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

• Must stand and walk for long periods and be able to lift 20 lb; lifting up to 50 lb may be required.
• Must cope with stress and work with people of all ages and backgrounds.

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience (1‑2 years recent acute care).
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Full‑time travel nurse position, temporary assignment in Macomb, IL; pay up to $2,400 /week.
