• Location: Macomb, Illinois 61455
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – OB Unit
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026 – End: 4/6/2026)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm – 7am)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Flexible, 2 weekends/month, holiday shifts required
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided (black shoes, black pants, purple scrub top)
• Charting System: Cerner EFM

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in labor & delivery, newborn nursery, and postpartum nursing
• Proficient in titrating magnesium sulfate and Pitocin
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) systems
• Ability to float and provide clinical support to other hospital departments

• Deliver comprehensive patient care to laboring mothers, newborns, and postpartum patients
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate strips using Cerner EFM
• Administer and titrate medications including magnesium sulfate and Pitocin
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Support patients with OB diagnoses: preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, fetal growth restriction, and large for gestational age
• Utilize respiratory support equipment (vents, CPAP, BiPAP) as needed
• Participate in unit-specific onboarding and comply with hospital policies
