This Level I pediatric trauma center provides inpatient anesthesia services for a pediatric patient population within a structured clinical environment. The facility maintains the staffing and clinical infrastructure necessary to support quality pediatric anesthesia care delivery on an ongoing basis. Locum tenens coverage is sought to support pediatric anesthesia operations beginning as soon as possible.

The West Michigan region is a lakeshore destination offering access to natural attractions such as Holland State Park, Silver Beach, and the Big Sable Point Lighthouse. Cultural venues including Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park and the Muskegon Museum of Art are accessible throughout the area. The region encompasses several communities, each contributing a distinct mix of outdoor recreation, arts, dining, and local events, with additional options ranging from boat tours and bike trails to farmers markets and waterfront dining.

The pediatric anesthesiologist will provide inpatient anesthesia services for a pediatric patient population on a locum tenens basis, with coverage beginning ASAP on an ongoing basis. The schedule includes day shifts, weeknight call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and 24-hour weekend call from Saturday at 7:00 AM to Monday at 7:00 AM, as required by facility needs. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain on-site availability during all designated call periods.

Board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology and prescriptive authority are required for this position.
