Inventory Analyst

Wesco is hiring an Inventory Analyst in Macon, GA for a full‑time, on‑site position. The role focuses on inventory analysis and strategic execution to optimize inventory and service levels.

Base Pay Range
$22.96/hr – $28.70/hr

The Inventory Analyst will manage inventory both indoors and outdoors, preparing and analyzing data for various projects, including interpreting and summarizing findings. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. Overtime may be required.

• Execute accurate scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Reconcile report data to ensure integrity.
• Audit processing errors or bad data points before releasing reports.
• Maintain report contact database, control user access, and perform regular backups.
• Maintain production reports, modify Teradata SQL, Excel macros, and Access databases as needed.
• Execute on demand processes, adjust parameters, and validate results before publishing.
• Assist in ad‑hoc report development, including modifying or creating SQL and formatting data in Excel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• APICS, CPFM, CPM preferred.
• One year of related experience, preferably in the distribution industry.
• Ability to follow established processes and schedules to deliver timely reports.
• Strong independent judgment, troubleshooting, and result verification.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros and advanced functions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access and basic SQL queries and reports.
• Understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL statements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of distribution industry, supply chain, purchasing, and inventory concepts.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
