Reputable GC in GA urgently seeks a Construction PM/Estimator

We are a leading commercial construction company in the greater Southern Georgia area. We are looking for an experienced Construction P6 Scheduler to join our growing team.

$90,000 - $140,000 per year

Lead Construction Estimator or Pre-Construction Manager

• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Review, create, submit quality estimates with detailed proposals.
• Prepare high-level quantity and manpower take-offs.
• Prospect and procure new opportunities for bid.
• Comprehensively analyze plans, specifications, proposals and additional documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects.
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, jobsite walk-throughs, bids, and coordination meetings.
• Maintain an extremely professional working relationship with clients, subcontractors, and peers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Desire and determination to succeed.
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and years of experience.
• The ability to proficiently provide estimates & estimating services.
• Experience with conceptual and schematic design budgeting.
• Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff preferred.
• Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Excellent math skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Ability to fully understand plans and specifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator.
