Preconstruction Manager/Estimator
Location: Macon & McDonough, GA
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 (Based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Preconstruction Manager/Estimator to join our team in Macon and McDonough, GA
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing accurate estimates and managing preconstruction activities for a variety of construction projects, ensuring seamless transitions from design to execution.

• Estimating:

  • Develop comprehensive estimates at various design stages, from Schematic Design to Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to create accurate cost projections.

• Bid Management:

  • Prepare detailed bid packages for subcontractor pricing.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor proposals to ensure competitive and precise cost estimates.

• Preconstruction Oversight:

  • Collaborate with project teams to establish budgets, schedules, and construction methodologies.
  • Recommend value engineering solutions and cost-saving measures.
  • Assess project risks and opportunities to enhance planning efficiency.

• Proficiency in Procore
  , Bluebeam
  , and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Solid understanding of construction principles, processes, and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate cost assessments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

• Previous experience in preconstruction and estimating roles within commercial or residential construction.
• Proven ability to produce precise estimates and manage bid documentation for various project types.
