Job Overview
As a UX Designer at Epic, you will act as the lead experience and visual designer for several development teams, setting the direction for joyful design. You will meet with end‑users to establish an understanding of their unique needs, research their workflows, and observe our applications being used in context. Working alongside developers, you will design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture, demonstrating concepts through sketches, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance to candidates who relocate to our Madison, WI campus. The location offers a vibrant tech talent hub, surrounded by green spaces and a community that supports creativity and well‑being.
Responsibilities• Lead experience and visual design for multiple development teams
• Conduct user research and contextual observation
• Produce design deliverables at varying fidelity levels—sketches, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate closely with developers to implement designs and maintain information architecture
• Advocate for joyful, user‑centric design across all stages of the product lifecycle
- Available to start before June 2026
- A solid portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
- Education or experience in user‑centered design techniques
- Bachelor’s degree or greater
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- COVID‑19 vaccination
