About the Role
Northside Family Dentistry is hiring a Full Time Dental Hygienist in Macon, Georgia!
As a Full Time Dental Hygienist, join our community of collaborative professionals at our practice with great hours.
ScheduleMonday through Thursday 7:45am - 5:00pm, with 1 hour lunch.
Responsibilities- Screening patients and providing quality care during check‑ups
- Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
- Reviewing patient's history and charting
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X‑ray
- Support the dentist with procedures as needed
- Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Georgia
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient‑focused approach
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred – but new grads are welcome to apply!
- Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
- Experience with dental practice software
