Overview

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Surgical Oncologist physician to support the program at the Macon Medical Center campus in Macon, GA. This opportunity joins a practicing physician and team in a busy setting while delivering excellent patient care. The ideal physician will help advance Piedmont Healthcare and the quality of care for patients.

• Perform hospital rounds on inpatients, including surgical floor and intensive care units
• Communicate patient condition changes to physicians and coordinate care
• Interact with nursing staff, pharmacy, radiology and other service lines in the hospital
• Answer ER calls
• Perform H&Ps, consults, and write progress notes on inpatients
• Assist with care of patients in the clinic and perform procedures in the hospital setting
