Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi-campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia. MGA has five campuses—Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins— all located in central Georgia—and global outreach through its fully-online campus. Its enrollment of 8,400 students is largely comprised of students from most of Georgia's 159 counties. The University has six academic schools, including Georgia's flagship aviation program, that support its mission to educate and graduate inspired, lifelong learners whose scholarship and careers enhance the state.

The Mathematics Academic Resource Center (MARC) provides free tutoring for students enrolled in math courses at Middle Georgia State University. Tutors assist students through academic tutoring, study tips, and time management.

• Conduct one-on-one and group tutoring through face-to-face and online appointments.
• Assist students with learning platforms such as ALEKS and D2L.
• Assist students with technology such as the TI-84 calculator.
• Assist students with study techniques, note taking, and scheduling.
• Participate in tutor training which includes course embedding.
• Schedule appointments, manage phones, and record tutoring data.
• Maximum of 19 hours per week.

• Eligible for FWS.
• Currently enrolled student in at least 6 credit hours at Middle Georgia State University.
• Current GPA of at least 3.00.
• Good communication skills.
• Comfortable with basic technology.
• Proficiency in Mathematics.
  • This can be demonstrated by earning an A in a math course or by an equivalent accomplishment such as high SAT/ACT math scores.
