Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Part‑Time Federal Work Study Student Assistant to help in the Department of Nursing on the Macon Campus.

• Assist with daily operations of running the office (answering phones, filing, making copies, distributing mail, assisting walk‑ins, manning front desk, etc.)
• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and community members.
• Direct and/or answer general questions regarding the nursing department.
• Organize and replenish daily front‑desk forms, pamphlets and bulletins.
• Distribute mail to faculty/staff mailboxes.
• Participate in special events as needed.
• Assist Chair, Faculty and Administrative Assistance with special projects.

• Must be currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must have GPA of at least 2.0.
• Must be awarded Federal Work Study.
• Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
• Knowledge and customer service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of computers and job‑related software programs.
• Oral and communication skills.
• Must be highly organized, disciplined, dependable, punctual, self‑motivated, and flexible.
