Job SummaryThe Department of Education within the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for part-time Education instructors on the Macon and Cochran campuses. Instructors are needed to teach literacy, math, and/or foundational courses and to supervise field experiences. Courses will be taught face-to-face and in a hybrid format (online and face-to-face). Classes will meet during school hours, evenings, and/or Saturdays.
Required Qualifications Required Educational QualificationsMinimum of a master’s degree in Education, Literacy, Special Education, or a related field.
Required ExperienceMust have five (5) years of experience teaching in P‑12.
Other QualificationsMust hold a teacher certification in Elementary Education in GA.
Must be current on new literacy teaching practices.
Must be available to teach two Saturdays a month.
Preferred QualificationsTeaching in higher education setting in a teacher education program.
