Job SummaryThis position is primarily responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, including aircraft systems, crew resource management, flight operations, and FAR Part 141 ground school courses.
Responsibilities- Teach various Aviation Maintenance Technology courses in the FAA General curriculum.
- Advise aviation students on academic and career aspirations.
- Develop course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, tests, and lab projects.
- Maintain training aids.
- Instruct Aviation Maintenance Technology courses in the classroom, labs, and shop.
- Evaluate student achievement and competence.
- Collaborate with faculty and occupational advisory committee.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree required. - Experience: If Master’s or Doctorate Degree is not in Aviation, extensive experience in Aviation along with a Master’s or Doctorate Degree is required.
- Other: Demonstrate ability to teach a broad array of aviation training courses.

Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree. - Experience: Civilian aviation experience with a background in FAR Part 121 or 135 operations preferred.
- Other: Possession of FAA Certified Flight Instructor rating (CFI) and/or Ground Instructor certificates (AGI, IGI) is preferred, though flight instruction is not required.
Employment offer is contingent upon completing a background investigation, including a criminal background check, to demonstrate employment eligibility with MGA, confirmation of credentials and employment history, and if applicable, a satisfactory credit check.
