The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Asset Health Analyst (Vibration CAT III) to serve as the technical lead for vibration and condition monitoring at our Macon, GA site. This position is intended for professionals who have developed their skills through hands‑on work in predictive maintenance and who are ready to take responsibility for technical leadership, mentoring, and reliability improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all vibration analysis and condition monitoring activities, ensuring data quality, diagnostic accuracy, and clear reporting.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to support asset reliability and operational excellence.
- Guide and mentor junior analysts, sharing knowledge and upholding high technical standards.
- Apply advanced diagnostic techniques, including phase analysis, resonance testing, and ODS, to address complex machinery issues.
- Integrate data from multiple predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, thermography, ultrasound, oil analysis) to inform recommendations and long‑term strategies. Utilize reliability methodologies such as RCM, RCA, and FMEA to support asset performance.
- Participate in weekend duty rotation, providing support for urgent equipment evaluations as needed.
- Maintain working knowledge of CMMS platforms (SAP PM, IBM Maximo) for tracking work orders, maintenance history, and reliability data integration.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety practices and standards.

- ISO 18436-2 Category III Vibration Analysis certification.
- Technical degree or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred).
- At least 5 years of practical experience in vibration analysis and diagnostics of rotating machinery in industrial settings.
- Proficiency with online monitoring systems and diagnostic software (e.g., SKF @ptitude, Emerson, Pruftechnik, Bently Nevada).
- Experience in the Pulp & Paper industry or similar heavy industry environments.
- Familiarity with reliability methodologies (RCM, RCA, FMEA) and CMMS platforms (SAP PM, IBM Maximo).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to industrial safety and compliance standards.
- Physical and mental readiness for field inspections and work in demanding environments.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% across North America.
- Able to participate in weekend duty rotations as needed.
