Vibration Analyst – ISO Category II
Location:
Macon, GA | 25% travel in North America
ANDRITZ is seeking a skilled and analytical Vibration Analyst (ISO Cat II) to join our reliability team supporting world-class asset performance in the Pulp & Paper industry. If you have hands‑on experience in predictive maintenance and vibration analysis, and you’re ready to take ownership of data interpretation and technical reporting, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, validate, and analyze vibration data on rotating equipment to detect developing faults and support root‑cause investigations.
- Provide actionable maintenance recommendations that improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with reliability and maintenance teams to support corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records in vibration software and asset health databases.
- Support the setup and verification of online condition monitoring systems.
- Identify and communicate equipment condition changes such as unbalance, misalignment, or looseness.
- Participate in weekend duty rotation, providing remote or on‑site support for urgent equipment evaluations.
- Follow ANDRITZ safety standards and ISO 18436‑2 guidelines in all vibration‑related activities.
What You Bring
- Certification in Vibration Analysis – ISO Category II required;
Category I is a plus. - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (ultrasound, thermography) is a plus.
- Physical ability for field inspection in Pulp & Paper mills.
- Strong communication skills—able to present findings clearly and objectively.
- Emotional stability and professionalism under pressure.
- Willingness and ability to travel (25% in North America).
