* Job Summary:

** Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data.
*
* What You Will Do:

*** Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to perform disassembly/assembly of engines, engine modules and components
* Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly, as specified by work instructions, comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.
* Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** HS Diploma or GED equivalent
* 1+ years’ experience in mechanic role or appropriate technical training (ASE certification or military equivalent)
** Qualifications*
* ** We Value:
*** 1+ years’ experience in aviation mechanic role
* Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License OR Powerplant (P) Certificate OR 2+ years’ relevant experience
* Basic understanding of Disassembly, Assembly, Test (DAT)
* Basic understanding of continuous improvement principles such as Lean Six Sigma or RTX's CORE Operating System
* Engine overhaul and repair experience, GTF and/or F117, PW2000, in one or more of the following disciplines:
Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, Turbine Engine Test Operations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
