Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an entry‑level Civil/Geotechnical Engineer for its Atlanta, GA office. The base salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, with additional compensation based on experience and discussed during the interview.

Atlanta, GA

• Civil/site engineering and design for government buildings, test stands, recreational facilities, roadways, parking lots, laboratory facilities, etc.
• Perform boring layout for utility clearance, supervise drill rigs, classify soils, and log borings.
• Perform and supervise field exploration, including SPT sampling, rock coring, and pile testing.
• Assist in developing a variety of layouts, drawings, and designs.
• Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior‑level team member.
• Maintain working knowledge of AutoCAD and slope‑stability analysis software.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, including site investigations, soil analysis, and foundation recommendations.
• Experience preparing geotechnical engineering reports for GDOT projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software, especially Civil 3D, is highly desirable.
• Ability and willingness to assist designers, drafters, and other staff members as needed.
• Effective communication skills with internal and external partners, including clients, subcontractors, and utility companies.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

• Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments.
• Ability to carry required instruments and equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Exposure to variable climate and environmental conditions, including extreme cold and heat.
