* What You Will Do:

** The Pratt & Whitney Columbus Forge Blades (CFB) Module Center Manufacturing Engineering Organization is seeking a
** Manufacturing Process Engineer
** to support CFB as Process Manufacturing Engineer for robotic automation processes.
* Responsible for all aspects of automation processes; standing up new automation processes from the ground up including fixturing, process tryout, work instruction, standard work, and gaining engineering source approval
* Develop and implement plans that are in line with the business strategy to further our world class technology portfolio.
* Provide operational engineering support to develop technologies and processes which support the growth curve and cost reduction targets.
* Leverage manufacturing innovations to improve cost, delivery, and quality of aerospace blade forgings
* Own relentless RCCA for correcting non-conformances resulting from automated processes; maintain work instructions applicable to automation.
* Look for areas to optimize, automate and trim waste; support operational excellence using statistical analysis for process control and certification
* Develop blade process using statistical methods that meet or exceed the business objective for process control.
* Assist with problem solving during manufacturing related investigation; provide focused & effective leadership in eliminating EH&S/Ergonomics/Human Factors risks and addressing quality issues.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field and 2 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related industrial environment or a Master's degree and 1 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing operations, quality or related industrial environment
* Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Engineering degree ( mechanical, electrical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering)
* Offline and teach pendant programming of Fanuc robots, 2 years robotics and PLC experience
