Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000 - $145,000 (plus incentive)

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $125,000 - $150,000 - $300,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SBA 7(a) Banker to join our team in Macon, Georgia. As an SBA 7(a) Banker, you will play a crucial role in helping small businesses in the Macon area access capital and achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for originating, underwriting, and closing SBA 7(a) loans while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

SBA Loan Origination: Identify and develop relationships with small business owners and entrepreneurs in Macon seeking SBA 7(a) financing.

Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis of loan applications, including reviewing business financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports.

Loan Structuring: Work with clients in the Macon area to structure SBA 7(a) loan packages that meet their specific needs and comply with SBA guidelines.

Underwriting: Prepare and submit complete loan packages for underwriting, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Client

Education:

Educate clients in Macon about SBA loan programs, eligibility criteria, and the application process.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Macon community, SBA officials, and other stakeholders involved in the loan process.

Credit Risk Assessment: Assess credit risk and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation for SBA 7(a) loan closings.

Compliance: Stay up-to-date with SBA regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance throughout the loan process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field (MBA is a plus).
