Overview
Staff Pharmacist, 7on/7off. Performs duties of distribution, documentation, compounding, dispensing, and monitoring medication therapy for patients of all age groups. Supervises pharmacy technician activities and provides patient‑focused clinical care throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities- Distribute, document, and compound drugs, solutions, and equipment to meet patient and staff needs.
- Review, compound, dispense, and monitor medication therapy for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, including dosing variations and nutritional needs.
- Supervise pharmacy technician activities and monitor all orders filled by auxiliary personnel.
- Maintain competency and promote professional self‑development in pharmacy practice.
- Provide patient‑focused clinical activities across the hospital to optimize medication therapy.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an ACPE‑accredited school of pharmacy or higher in Pharmacy (required).
- NA (none specified) (required).
- Hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
- Licensed registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia (required).
