Responsibilities- Functions under the direct supervision of the occupational therapist responsible for a specific patient's care.
- The certified occupational therapist assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an occupational therapist.
- Responsible for the care of patients treated by rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers.
- Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
- Associate's Degree from an approved Occupational Therapist Assistant Program
- No experience required
- COTA - Occupational Therapy Assistant Certified, current licensure in the State of Georgia or current compact privileges in Georgia (Required upon hire)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA (Required upon hire)
Salary: $50.00-$60.00 per hour, Georgia, United States.
