Base Pay Range
$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Training and Shift Schedule- Training: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (approx. 2 weeks)
- Regular
Shifts: - Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM (closing)
- Every other weekend: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Some holidays: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
We are seeking a Pharmacy Floor Technician to join our team on a long‑term contract basis. This position plays a critical role in preparing prescriptions for pharmacist verification and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately and efficiently fill daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision
- Process returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
- Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store during low-volume times
- Package materials and products manually
- Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas
- Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy checks
- Alert pharmacist of any medication/product scanning issues
- Maintain workstation areas and replenish stock supplies
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA
- Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work at a moderate speed with attention to detail
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Clear and Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician License issued by the GA Board of Pharmacy
- Previous pharmacy technician experience
- Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required or expected
- Training schedule will transition to regular night/weekend/holiday shifts after approximately 2 weeks
