• Research laws and prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda
• Render opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department
• Prepare and handle pleadings, motions, and discovery, including depositions and examinations
• Defend assigned matters through trial or dispositive hearing as applicable
• Maintain clear and concise documentation for client and internal communication

• 2 to 6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury
• Juris Doctor degree
• Admission to the Georgia bar and licensed in good standing to practice law in Georgia
• Ability to travel for trials, hearings, and other professional obligations
• Strong organizational, priority-setting, and multi-tasking skills

• Experience in civil litigation
• Background in insurance defense-related litigation
• Professional communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing
