Job Overview

We are seeking to empower a highly motivated, goal focused, customer‑oriented team member for the role of multi‑unit Senior Property Manager. As a Senior Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Salary: $22 – $24 per hour.

Macon and Warner Robbins, GA

Must live within 20 miles of the area for this specific job posting.

  • Oversee the overall management of multiple self‑storage facilities, supervising multiple team members (typically 5 locations, each with 1 or more employees).
  • Foster a culture that demonstrates the core values of National Storage Affiliates of INTEGRITY, ACCOUNTABILITY, HUMILITY, COMPASSION with team members at all levels.
  • Host and/or attend virtual meetings that occur on a set schedule:
    Weekly, Bi‑Weekly, Monthly, Bi‑Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually, and attend impromptu meetings as needed.
  • Create monthly schedules to support the needs of the business and cover shifts when needed.
  • Ensure stores are staffed, properties are clean, customers are attended to, and calls are answered.
  • Partner with our Recruiting Department and interview for open positions.
  • Develop, performance‑manage, and mentor team members; coach the team to ensure they provide excellent customer service focused on retaining customers and building rapport with new customers.
  • Ensure that your team members complete their new‑hire training and are compliant with ongoing employee training.
  • Ensure all facilities and team members adhere to company safety standards, operational procedures, and meet financial goals.
  • Conduct monthly audits of each store to ensure all bank records and tenant accounts are accurate and company policies are being followed.
  • Conduct monthly auctions and ensure compliance with current state lien laws.
  • Review and monitor maintenance and planned capital expenses at facilities to keep our assets in good standards and a positive representation of the NSA Storage brands.
  • Contract and license oversight.
Position Requirements
  • All work must be done in accordance with safety regulations and applicable safety policies and standards.
  • Physical activity including, but not limited to, extensive walking, walking on incline and decline, extensive use of stairs; lifting up to fifty (50) pounds; climbing multiple flights of stairs; cleaning units; pulling weeds; cutting property locks for auctions. Must be able to walk outside for several hours with team members, including during inclement weather.
  • Travel by car to storage facilities within the support area and physically inspect properties; travel requirements may include rental or personal vehicle and occasional airplane travel. Must be in market 100% of working days per month, including overnight and out‑of‑state travel in some cases.
  • Management experience of a team of employees.
  • Excellent time‑management and multi‑tasking skills utilizing cadence of calendars and schedules.
  • Excellent customer service, sales experience, phone skills, organizational skills, computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI).
  • Accurate record keeping and filing; proficient math skills for auditing purposes and cash‑handling experience.
  • Host and/or attend virtual meetings, supporting a culture of being on camera when possible.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a clean criminal background check.
  • Work Monday‑Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and at least one Saturday per month from 9 am to 5 pm; may be on call during off Saturdays and Sundays.
