* What You Will Do:

** Pratt & Whitney Columbus is at the core of military and commercial engine applications production with the manufacture of forgings for disks. The
** Quality Supervisor
** will manage a team of Ultrasonic Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspectors. The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance within inspection operations and meeting customer expectations through on-time delivery while working to drive efficiency into the quality inspection processes.
* Ensure the safety of employees by driving a "safety-first" culture
* Enable the inspection team by providing training and development; leading a team that is empowered to make decisions that meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives
* Identify opportunities for documentation of quality requirements to establish and implement improvements
* Investigate new and improved methods of inspection that can be used to improve efficiency and reduce cost
* Promote transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps in meeting daily business objectives
* Collaborate with the quality engineering and manufacturing engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities; lead the working team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality or closely related field or an Associate's degree and 4 or more years of experience in n engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality or closely related field
* In absence of a degree, High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with 6 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality or closely related field
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
* U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Prior experience in a team lead/supervisory capacity
* Experience with SAP and Solumina
* Demonstrated experience with Continuous improvement/Lean concepts
* Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection
* Prior experience in Engineering/Production, Quality Engineering, CMM Quality, CNC Machining, or Quality Inspection
