Middle Georgia printing company is looking for Saddle Stitcher/Bindery Operators. This position is open for 3 shifts. Shift will be negotiated at hire. A qualified applicant should be able to complete job orders and meet all quality standards after 90 days of training on the machine. Machine operation and mechanical knowledge is essential.

• Operate binding machines.
• Perform routine maintenance of binding equipment.
• Complete job orders accurately and on schedule.
• Meet all quality standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and work instructions.
• Maintain proper records and enter basic data into the system.

High school diploma or advanced technical school training.

3 years of successful employment in a production environment.

• Read and interpret work instructions, safety guidelines, and job instructions.
• Communicate verbally and via computer with manufacturing and warehouse employees.
• Perform basic math calculations for set ups.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environment and operation of moving equipment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries.
  
  Perform small tool adjustments and use lift equipment.
