The Printer Mechanic role is responsible for maintaining production equipment in the printer area and responding to trouble calls as needed.

• Follows all documented safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
• Performs printer general maintenance.
• Utilizes quarterbacking to facilitate change‑overs.
• Supports production in all areas to troubleshoot and address problems.
• Maintains spare parts inventory.
• Documents daily maintenance activity.
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to keep a safe work area.
• Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
• Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
• Maintains excellent safety record.
• Maintains excellent attendance record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
• Demonstrated self‑compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS);
  Maintenance Connection experience preferred.

• Interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Initiative in addressing and/or resolving repair issues.
• Effective communication skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

• Standing for lengthy periods (frequent)
• Sitting for extended periods (frequent)
• Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
• Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)

• Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and work in a hot/cold environment.
• Must be able to work a rotating 12‑hour schedule.
• Must have basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Must have personal tools up to one (1) inch.

High School Diploma or GED. Technical certification in a related field preferred.
