FABRICATION TECHNICIAN 1 Patio Door
-2nd Shift M-F 3:30pm-12am Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to be able to perform the job duties listed below.
TRAINING FOR THIS SHIFT MAY BE ON A DIFFERENT SHIFT FOR UP TO ONE MONTH.

Essential Functions and

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricates doors and frames for vinyl extrusions using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, saws, vertical welders, corner cleaners, double miter saws, etc., as well as milling machines.
• Identifies and tags material with a written symbol for assembly and inspection.
• Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations.
• Fit and assemble components.
• Performs all general production work as required.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Job requires constant lifting up to 50 and 75 pounds
• Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time.
• Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment
• Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time
• Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence

At YKK AP America Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.06 to $19.04, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications
