Pay is dependent upon experience and will be discussed during the consideration process.

• Oversee mix design submittals for projects and contact Engineers and Architects when specifications do not meet ACI guidelines, obtain approval of mix designs from accrediting agencies, project engineers, etc.
• Report monthly on mix optimization, deficiencies in mix performance, and the number of bids and submittals produced for each division. Maintain all records of materials used in the production of concrete, evaluate and test raw materials in accordance with ASTM standards to ensure minimization of product failure.
• Track raw materials and product performances to help prevent product failure. Minimize risk through development of trend analysis and product performance records.
• Evaluate product quality and performance to establish benchmarks for products and raw materials.
• Take appropriate actions to correct material failures and implement processes and procedures to prevent future problems.
• Monitor and test concrete performance during the placement phase to clearly identify concrete performance problems at job sites/projects.
• Communicate and coordinate material test results to the Tech Services Manager, Area Managers, and material vendors/supplies to ensure timely resolution of material quality‑related issues.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other plant personnel on quality issues.
