Piedmont Macon is a 310‑bed, acute‑care community hospital that has served the Macon community for over 50 years. The medical center offers 24‑hour emergency care and all major medical, surgical, and diagnostic services.

• Responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner.
• Coordinate all patient care activities and serve as liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure efficient and safe care delivery.
• Delegate workload appropriately; model teamwork, leadership, and professionalism in the ED.

• Education
  • Graduate from a nursing program – Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – Preferred
• Work Experience
  • 1 year of Emergency Department experience as a registered nurse (RN) – Required
  • Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects – Required
• Licenses and Certifications
  • RN – Registered Nurse – Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure – Required
  • BCLS – Basic Life Support – Required
  • ACLS – Required
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support – Required
  • CEN – Certified Emergency Room Nurse – Preferred
