A contract opportunity is available for an experienced RN skilled in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing based in Macon, GA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-acuity surgical environment within a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital offering advanced services including a Chest Pain and Stroke Center.

Responsibilities- Deliver expert perioperative nursing care across diverse surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular procedures such as open heart and valve replacement surgeries.
- Utilize advanced technology such as EPIC Optime EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Phillips monitoring systems to support safe patient care.
- Participate in a call rotation covering 6-8 calls per month, including holiday and weekend call responsibilities as per a 6-week schedule cycle.
- Engage in a comprehensive 1-week orientation to the hospital and unit protocols.
- Collaborate within a team-oriented, safety-focused culture emphasizing inclusivity and cooperation.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with BLS certification required. Cardiovascular Surgery Technician (CST) certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years general OR experience, with 5 years preferred specifically in CVOR. First-time travelers may be considered based on experience.
- Proficient in cardiovascular surgical procedures and intraoperative care.
- Flexibility to work 10-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM.

Contract. - Parking is available; free parking is located a short walk from the hospital, or a paid parking deck option is offered.
- Scrubs provided via a surgical green scrub exchange system.
