6 Heart Tower (6HT) is a 30-bed cardiac observation unit located on the 6th floor of Heart Tower. This position is sign-on bonus eligible. 6HT specializes in pre and post-operative procedures, including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, and electrophysiology studies. 6HT also cares for and supports med/surg overflow patients. Typical Nurse to Patient ratio is 1:5.
- Provide nursing care on the 6 Heart Tower Cardiac Observation unit, including pre- and post-operative care.
- Support procedures such as cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, and electrophysiology studies.
- Care for med/surg overflow patients as needed on the unit.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, document care accurately, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Adhere to unit policies and maintain the nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:5.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Will consider current nursing student graduating from an accredited RN education program within 60 days.
Pay Range
: $34.90 - $52.35 per hour
