Job Responsibilities As a Public Health Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to individuals living with HIV/AIDS while delivering professional nursing services in accordance with established protocols, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, administering immunizations, providing health education, coordinating care, and supporting patients in achieving their best possible health outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities Identify and address the health needs of high-risk populations by developing and implementing targeted interventions based on population needs and available resources.

Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.

Provide treatment, administer medications and vaccines, and deliver preventive and maintenance care to patients and families in accordance with care plans and/or physician treatment plans.

Screen and refer clients to appropriate community service providers.

Participate in drills and exercises related to pandemic influenza, mass sheltering, and mass dispensing.
