- Serves as a content expert in all matters of real estate leasing and related administration.
- Serves as an interface between owned and managed entities and the Facilities Management Group functions that impact real estate operations.
- Supports real estate transactions such as new leased property searches, lease renewals and amendments, terminations, property monetization activities, document approval, reporting and transaction status monitoring.
- Negotiates real estate lease-related documents and supervises negotiation efforts performed by Real Estate Leasing Specialists and Brokerage.
- Coordinates with attorneys on all matters of real property leasing document preparation including but not limited to letters of intent, leases, lease amendments, subleases, assignments, ground leases, license agreements, estoppel certificates and SNDAs.
Performs work under normal office conditions which may include sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, using repetitive wrist/arm motions frequently, and lifting up to 15 lbs. Some travel may be required to other departments, facilities, or sites in personal vehicle.
Education, Experience and CertificationsBachelor's Degree required. General understanding of Stark, Anti-kickback, fraud, and abuse regulations as they pertain to medical office leasing required preferred. 5 to 10 years' experience working in a large-scale medical office, general office and/or commercial leasing operation required. Proven track record of strong lease negotiating skills required. Familiarity required with Greater Charlotte region real estate market and related 3rd party leasing network.
- Applicable state Real Estate Brokers License required.
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage a large quantity of transactions concurrently that are in various stages.
- Ability to close on transactions timely and efficiently in a rapidly changing environment.
- Previous experience managing a team or individuals.

Manages Real Estate leasing activities for the various Advocate owned legal entities and regional and managed entities as assigned. Ensures that all real property leases are compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
