Position Summary:

Are you ready to make a lot of people’s day? Our Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of our front end. You play a major role in how our members feel in the club and when they leave. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that our members interact with. It’s important to smile, greet, and thank each and every member.

We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self‑checkout experience. The pace can be really fast, especially in evenings, weekends, and during holiday seasons. You’ll need to juggle several tasks quickly while helping members scan items, process payments, and maintain a clean area. It’s hard work, but our cashiers find it rewarding, especially as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

Maintain the safety of the facility according to company policies by conducting safety sweeps; following forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; following steel standard guidelines; and reporting unsafe situations to facility management.

Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues; promoting company products; supporting members with self‑service technology; processing purchases and payments; utilizing registers or self‑checkout; zoning the area; and arranging merchandise.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in business processes.

Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers and co‑workers; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress; recommending improvement opportunities; and adapting to change.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may vary by job classification and length of employment.

The hourly wage range is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
