J. L. Perkins Wealth Management is a growing financial advisory firm committed to providing personalized financial planning services. We are driven by a commitment to client success, innovative strategies, and exceptional service. As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire a licensed Relationship Advisor to serve our existing client base. This is not a sales role.

Our Relationship Advisors support our sales advisors by preparing cases, attending client meetings, and nurturing client relationships post-onboarding — without prospecting, cold calling, or sales quotas.

We’re looking for a client-focused professional to join our advisory team in a relationship-first role. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with people, enjoys preparing for client meetings, and wants to be client-facing. This role includes preparing cases, attending client meetings, onboarding clients, and nurturing long-term relationships.

Requirements:

  • Life Insurance License
  • Series 65 License

What This Role IS:

  • Client-facing

What This Role IS NOT:

  • No cold calling

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Before Meetings:

  • Organize data and planning inputs into various planning software tools

During Meetings:

  • Attend discovery, recommendation, and onboarding meetings
  • Take notes and track action items

After Onboarding:

  • Serve as secondary client contact
  • Proactively nurture client relationships
