Head Waiter

As Head Waiter, you will be the face of the restaurant service and a point of reference for the team. You will be responsible for leading, inspiring, and ensuring that every meal becomes an unforgettable experience for our guests.

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring outstanding service.
• Lead, train and motivate the team, fostering a positive, quality-driven working environment.
• Ensure compliance with Savoy Signature service standards.
• Manage bookings, welcome guests, and deliver personalised service.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality, preferably within luxury hotels.
• A passion for guest service and a strong eye for detail.
• Sound knowledge of wine, etiquette and service protocol.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (other languages are a plus).
• Strong team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
