Service Master Technician at Gill CDJR

Overview

Gill CDJR at Gill Automotive Group is looking for an experienced and reliable Service Master Technician to join our team. The Service Master Technician is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing automotive repair and maintenance services to customers. The Technician will inspect, diagnose, and resolve automotive problems as well as perform preventative maintenance services as needed. This is an individual contributor role with compensation commensurate with experience.

$25.00/hr - $45.00/hr

• Assist customers with automotive inquiries and repair needs.
• Perform automotive repair services, including but not limited to tune ups, brake service, steering & suspension, and engine rebuilding.
• Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, tire balancing & mounting, and fluid checks & changes.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle automotive systems including but not limited to brakes, transmission, exhaust, heating & air conditioning, and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Keep shop floor and work area clean.
• Follow established safety guidelines and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification in at least two categories required.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Service Master Technician in an automotive repair shop required.
• Working knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to use shop equipment such as hydraulic lifts, welding equipment, and air tools.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• A valid driver s license with clean driving record required.
