Substitute Custodian Pool

The Chawanakee Unified School District is located in Eastern Madera County, covering approximately 867 square miles, extending from the floor of the San Joaquin Valley to the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, including a significant amount of territory in the Sierra National Forest. Chawanakee Unified School District is a TK-12th grade district that takes great pride in all of their school sites.

There are seven schools in the district which include a full array of college and career educational options for students. Hillside Elementary School is part of the Chawanakee Unified School District and is within a 20-minute drive of Fresno and Madera. Hillside Elementary is part of the vibrant Tesoro Viejo master-planned community in eastern Madera County, nestled amidst gently rolling hills, sweeping vistas of Little Table Mountain, and miles of preserved open space and trails that lead all the way to the San Joaquin River.

The community is thoughtfully built around Hillside Village-the inaugural neighborhood framed by parks, trails, and the resort-style Ranch House clubhouse. Completion of 12th grade or equivalent desirable. Trained in basic custodial skills and maintenance practices. Valid California Driver license required. Must clear DOJ and FBI fingerprint background check, submit negative TB test results, and pass physical examination prior to hiring.
