As the Product Application Engineer you will report to the Product Line Director. You will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our clients, ensuring the effective application and integration of JBT Marel's products and solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and excellent problem-solving skills in the food processing industry.

• Communicate the value and benefits of JBT Marel products to customers and sales teams effectively.
• Translate customer requirements into precise product specifications and solutions.
• Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of JBT Marel products and their integration with other product lines.
• Provide technical support to sales teams, including conducting product demonstrations and training sessions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met regarding product specifications and project timeliness.
• Coordinate and support design, design changes, specifications and drawing releases, procurement, inventory, cost control and startup activities for all assigned product lines.

• Bachelor Engineering Degree or related discipline (e.g. marketing, business) is required.
• 5+ years’ experience capital equipment sales / account management.
• Experience in food processing or industrial goods manufacturing.

This position can be remote but must live in the California Central Valley or Inland Empire region of Southern California. With up to 20% travel.

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000+ 5% year‑end incentive. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
