To facilitate the successful reintegration of individuals in our care back to their communities, equipped with the tools to be drug‑free, healthy, and employable members of society by providing education, treatment, rehabilitative, and restorative justice programs in a safe and humane environment.
- Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, assume administrative responsibilities over the Mental Health Department.
- Provide supervision to line staff and first‑line supervisors.
- Develop treatment modalities and oversee quality assurance of mental health services.
- Valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology.
- Earned Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an institution meeting Section 2914 of the Medical Board of California's Business and Professions Code.
- Either:
- At least two (2) years’ experience as a licensed Psychologist in the Department of Corrections.
- Or at least three (3) years’ experience as a licensed Psychologist in a forensic setting such as a local jail or community‑based forensic treatment unit.
- Training and Development assignment will not be considered at this time.
